Just to highlight a point here, you are aware that if money has entered your account in error you have a legal obligation to notify your bank or in this case paypal failure to do could result in prosecution of fraud.

    Hi Kate,

I would leave it on, as others have said some people will only use paypal on sites they haven't used before.

I removed paypal when we was hit by fraud. only £160 product but after that never again. Paypal are just to quick to side with buyer and give them an instant refund.

I also did what you have done and looked at fee's cost. Ditching paypal meant I could become more competitive.

For the record I have 2 paypal accounts and never use them for purching online (only on ebay)

If they want the product, they will enter their full details regardless. we are also getting more phone payments lately, some people still love the old fashioned way and still wish to confirm an item is in stock even though it says that already online. Would rather pay 25p per transaction than 2.9% +20p. but that's just me.

Figures are extremely hard to match as the days are probably different. Also you have the fees, not sure whether you are seeing it with or without. If you have Kashflow, you can get all your paypal sales imported now so need to worry. I wouldn't worry, can't think they would be putting money into your account!
