Ebay/Amazon/Play - do you need them?
Just wondering who sells solely on their website. Ive dipped my toe in to the murky waters of ebay and amazon and have been accepted on play - I have to say amazon is great for selling we have sold lots (around 300 items) however we have noticed people only leave feedback when they have had a issue making this not a very good advert for your business...
Have i been done? (SEO company)
I found a small SEO company who interested me, its only really one guy but after a few emails and a phone call he seemed to know what he was talking about so decided to go ahead. He said he could increase traffic x2-5 in 3 months at an introductory cost of £504 a month (15 hours work a month) concentrating on content. Its now the end of the first month and to me it seems he hasn’t done anything...

Just wondering really how people are doing in terms of quantites of sales on their sites (no £ just amount of orders). I am taking the plunge in August and have handed in my notice to give the business a go full time so just wanted to know more or less where I stand at the moment. (this will either put my mind at ease or make me panic!)

How would you respond to this email?
Received this email from a customer, how would you respond. He purchased a bear at £36.99 which is 10% cheaper than the RRP anyway. I cannot compete with Amazon prices to be fair. "I have just noticed that this bear is £10 cheaper on amazon! I feel like I've been conned a bit and my little girl has had to miss out on some other birthday presents to get this one. Would you consider a part refund at all? I have already left you good feedback. I would be grateful if you would consider my request."
My site is on the first page of google and I don't want it to be !!!
Yes you read the title correctly. Most of you will know, but for the those that don't.... I am not "live" with my site yet. It is still under construction, and I have no product pictures uploaded yet, so from an image point of view there is nothing to buy, but I have put in some product descriptions.
Being a bit nosey...

Accidently paid supplier, they wont pay it back.. whats next?
I paid a supplier by Bank transfer just over a month ago by mistake, it wasn't much, just shy of £400. I emailed my contact immediately and they said they would get it sorted... several emails and attempted phone calls and im no longer getting a response from them. My question is how do i claim this money back? we are both UK limited companies so i know things like small claims is out the window.
So today is the big Strike day with the UK Border force out on strike, over 900,000 teachers and even the union that represents primary school headteachers out on strike for the first time in over 100 years. Not just the airports and schools though, hospitals and rail services are due to be affected as well. I even heard on the travel news this morning that both Mersey tunnels in Liverpool are closed due to the strikes. So, what do you make of it all?
