Hello,

I wondered if anyone had an Amazon shop as well as EKM and can offer help or advice. We have and keep coming up with the same problem. If someone orders something that is available in different colours, captions or sizes, there is no options boxes for them to specify their requirement.

eg. Some of our t-shirt pics show various captions of the same product on one picture, but we get orders through without telling us which one they want! We keep having to send out emails to ask which they want.

Is it just us - or can someone tell me if this is how it is with an Amazon shop.

You're more clever than me! I tried to do the colour options once on Amazon and got in such a pickle I never tried again :( I have loads of products with the same code which effectively means I can only list one colour. Have read the bumpf on Amazon about this but it is as clear as mud to me.

You can set different conditions using the same barcode on Amazon. This will allow you to list by colour etc. Or you can purchase barcodes to allow you to list each individually.

I did this and landed up with 3 identical products with same numbers in my inventory - this isn't supposed to happen. I need the fools guide :)

Yeah it will be the same, but you can set a different SKU, and put the colour etc in item description.

Oh Norah you make it sound so easy :eek: All this parent / child variation sounds like a maths lesson to me :confused:

We've just started with Amazon and can't believe how out of date there software seems to be. We've had the same problem regarding listing the same product with colour/size options.

EKM have just spoilt us with their fantastic product!
